A League of Her Own – PWHL Inaugural Season Magazine
This magazine was a passion project for me. I've been a dedicated women's hockey fan my entire life, following womens hockey very closely since I was a kid. Hockey has been a huge part of my life—I played for years and had the chance to meet many incredible athletes who are now part of the PWHL.
When the PWHL was officially formed, I knew I wanted to create something to capture this historic moment. That’s how A League of Her Own was born—an inaugural season magazine dedicated to celebrating the league, its players, and the impact it has on the sport.
The name A League of Her Own is a nod to the Rockford Peaches, the legendary women's baseball team from 1944. Their story inspired the 1992 film A League of Their Own, and just like those trailblazing athletes, the PWHL is making history in its own way. This magazine is my tribute to the game, the players, and the community that has fought for this moment.
